About Course

Practical training in acupuncture. Acquire all the necessary skills to apply traditional Chinese medicine treatments with acupuncture and moxibustion.

 

To access the acupunture training you must have previously completed the traditional Chinese medicine course.

 

In-person internships currently available in Cairo, Egypt, and Valencia, Spain. For other locations and/or intensive internships, contact us at students@aldunya.net

 

  • MODULE 1: ESSENTIAL CONCEPTS OF THE HUMAN BODY
     Anatomy 50 hours
     Physiology 50 hours
     First aid 10 hours
     Basic Western Diagnostics 5 hours
     Pharmacology 5 hours
  • MODULE 2: CHINESE ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENTS 50 hours
     Principles of prevention and treatment.
     Internal medicine and pathology.
     Pain treatment. Headaches and migraines.
     Gynecological and obstetric disorders.
     Urological disorders
     Respiratory disorders
     Skin diseases
     Digestive disorders
     Disorders of the sense organs. Dizziness and dizziness
     Psycho-emotional disorders
  • MODULE 3: ACUPUNCTURE PRACTICE
     Needle handling techniques 10 hours
     Moxibustion techniques 10 hours
     Safety and contraindications
     Sterilization, injury prevention, contraindications (e.g., pregnancy), and management of adverse reactions. 5 hours
     Evaluation and diagnostic training 250 hours
    This includes training in patient admission, history, pulse and tongue diagnosis, and treatment planning.
     Supervised clinical practice 700 hours
    This includes practice under the supervision of a qualified professional, treating real patients in a clinical setting.
  • MODULE 4: THERAPEUTIC SKILLS
     State of consciousness to be able to be a therapist: meditation and other techniques of personal growth. 50 hours
     Communication skills.
     Management of a consultation.
     Follow-up and accompaniment of the healing process.
     Client Management: Legal regulations, patient communication, consent, record keeping, and professional growth. 5 hours
