Practical Acupuncture Training
Acquire all necessary skills to apply Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments with acupuncture and moxibustion.

MODULE 1: ANATOMY, PHYSIOLOGY, AND ALLOPATHIC PERSPECTIVE
  • Anatomy 50 hours
  • Physiology 50 hours
  • First Aid 10 hours
  • Basics of Western Diagnosis 5 hours
  • Pharmacology 5 hours

MODULE 2: CHINESE ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENTS

50 Hours

  • Principles of Prevention and Treatment.
  • Rheumatic Pathologies: Pain-related issues, back pathologies, Torticollis, Sciatica, Lumbago, Tendinitis, Frozen Shoulder or Scapulohumeral Periarthritis, knee injuries, ankle and foot injuries, Sprain, Temporomandibular Disorders, Bi Syndromes, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
  • Respiratory Pathologies: Common cold and flu, Cough, Asthma, Rhinitis, Sinusitis, polyps, Throat disorders, Hoarseness.
  • Gastrointestinal Pathologies: Diarrhea, Constipation, Nausea and vomiting, Gastralgia/epigastric pain, Acid reflux/GERD, Irritable Bowel Syndrome/Gastrointestinal neurosis, Difficulty swallowing, Abdominal pain, Hypochondriac pain.
  • Dermatological Pathologies: Hives, Eczema, Shingles, Psoriasis.
    Cardiovascular Pathologies: Palpitations, Heart rhythm disorders, Excessive sweating, Hemorrhoids.
  • Auditory System Pathologies: Otitis, Tinnitus, Hearing loss.
  • Nervous System Pathologies: Headache and migraine, Dizziness and vertigo, Heatstroke, Trigeminal neuralgia, Tics, Parkinson’s, ADHD.

  • Psychoemotional Pathologies: Insomnia, drowsiness, Poor memory, Neurosis, Anxiety, Melancholia, Depression, Bipolar disorder, OCD, Classic syndromes.
  • Genitourinary Pathologies: Edema, Lin Syndrome, Cystitis, Urinary retention, Urinary incontinence, Urinary stones.
  • Endocrine Pathologies: Diabetes, Goiter, Hypo- and hyperthyroidism.
  • Women’s Pathologies: Female physiology, Shortened menstrual cycle, Delayed cycle, Irregular menstruation, Heavy menstruation, Scanty menstruation, Dysmenorrhea, Amenorrhea, Uterine bleeding, Premenstrual syndrome, Excessive vaginal discharge (leucorrhea, infections, candida), Uterine prolapse, Abdominal masses (fibroids, polycystic ovaries), Vulvar itching and ulcers, Menopausal symptoms.
  • Pregnancy Pathologies: General guidelines, Nausea and vomiting, Dizziness, Anxiety, suffocating sensation, Cough, Constipation, Abdominal pain, Miscarriage risk, Fetal growth restriction, Urinary retention, Edema, Painful urination, Diabetes and cholestasis, Convulsions/eclampsia, Breech baby.
  • Postpartum Pathologies: Lochia, Postpartum pain, Insufficient lactation, Mastitis, Galactorrhea, Sweating, Difficulty urinating, Fever, Constipation and hemorrhoids, Joint pain, Postpartum depression.

MODULE 3: ACUPUNCTURE PRACTICE
  • Needle manipulation techniques 10 hours
  • Moxibustion techniques 10 hours
  • Safety and contraindications
  • Sterilization, injury prevention, contraindications (e.g., pregnancy), and adverse reaction management. 5 hours.
  • Assessment and diagnosis training 250 hours. Includes patient intake training, case history, pulse and tongue diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Supervised clinical practice 700 hours
    Practice under qualified supervision, treating real patients in a controlled setting.

MODULE 4: THERAPEUTIC SKILLS
  • Therapist’s mindful state: Meditation and other personal growth techniques. 50 hours.
  • Communication skills.
  • Clinic management.
  • Treatment process follow-up and accompaniment.
  • Client management: Legal regulations, patient communication, consent, record keeping, and professional growth. 5 hours.
