Fertility, pregnancy and postpartum with TCM

We have extensive experience in fertility treatments, ailments during pregnancy, induction of labor and postpartum accompaniment and recovery.

Clinical studies support the efficacy of acupuncture for fertility. It can be used both as a sole treatment, avoiding medication and hormonal treatment, as well as as a complement in different assisted/in vitro fertilization processes, improving the chances of success of fertilization or transfer.

The treatment is carried out for a minimum of 4 months at a weekly session. The treatment is renewed for 4 sessions until pregnancy is achieved. The average estimated time for treatment success is between 4 and 6 months, although in some cases it can last up to a year.

We also treat discomforts during pregnancy, such as dizziness, nausea, fluid retention and others. In high-risk pregnancies, it is a fantastic accompaniment that reduces the likelihood of complications.

Postpartum recovery can be easier with TCM, which will help on an energetic and physical level, being able to treat diastasis, and speed up muscle and scar recovery from cesarean section.

In all cases, TCM treatment also provides psycho-emotional support, so important in the different phases of the wonderful and at the same time challenging journey of motherhood.
